Christmas Morning
This year the kids finally received gifts that they have been hoping to get for several years. With some planning ahead we were able to pull it off.
Mary with her first American Girl Doll- Kirsten.Anna with her pony- Smores (notice the cute little stall built by Grandpa Glen and Mom)
Jacob with his remote control lego set- very exciting for dad too....
Brooke in her new kitchen, baking cookies.
Family Photo (nightmare)
We love our each of our children dearly, but there are times when it is not so obvious.
Homespun family photo sessions would be a case in point.

Our Girl Anna
Well, there are so many things I can say about Anna. If I had to give one word to describe her these days, it would be comedian. She has become the family clown of late. I think she has discovered the power of humor, which she uses to her advantage. There have been several occasions where she has avoided due consequences by getting Moss or I to laugh at her antics.
Anna's love for animals has only increased as she has gotten older. She is still our resident artist and she is very creative and sincere as she practices her skills.

First little Piggies
It is hard to believe that our little girls are coming up on their first birthday. They are so fun and happy. We are loving every minute of it. I do have to say that I am looking forward to them walking themselves out to the van:) I thought I should document their first little piggy since they were so cute. With the way things are around here, I have to confess they often look like rag-a-muffins.
I think I better start documenting who is who. They seem to be looking more and more alike, especially in photos. Is there anything better than playing with Grandpa?

Fun in Downtown
So we headedout for an afternoon on the town. After spending forever trying to figure out where to park my very tall van, I am committed to learning the public transportation routes. Plus, what could be more fun than riding a train or a ferry? Quincy Market is a very fun place, but I think it might be a little more fun by myself. I think I better learn the history of it so I can appreciate it for its full value:) One bit of advice, if you come to Boston- Don't go to the aquarium!
Halloween Fun
Halloween is no small holiday around here. The kids had a very successful night of filling their bags with candy, and full-size bars to boot. We were especially grateful for the warm night!
The Bunker Hill Monument
This is one of the more "kid-friendly" historical activities to do here. If you don't mind climbing the 300 steps to the top, it is really worth the view. Way to go Grandma!
Fall is in the Air!
We had a fabulous fall here, and it only got better when our cousins came to play! I was so sure it was going to get cold really early that the I have been thrilled with the suprisingly warm days we have had.
